The 17th Asian Games, officially known as XVII Asiad will take place over a period of 16 days in Incheon, Korea from September 19 to October 4, 2014. 13,000 athletes from 45 countries will participate in the vibrant event. A total of 439 events will be held in 36 sports. It will be the third time when Korea will host the high intensity event. The slogan of the event is “Diversity shines here”. The medals tally of the Asian Games 2014 will be decided on the number of gold medals won by a nation.
