Indian freestyle wrestler Sakshi Malik brought pride to the nation by winning the bronze medal in the recently concluded Rio Olympics 2016. She played well and gave her best shot to win a medal for the country. Virender Sehwag has been a constant supporter and has given immense encouragement to the Indian contingent throughout the event. Sakshi on this occasion took to her Twitter handle and expressed her desire to meet Sehwag and popped the question to the swashbuckling former Indian opener.

Sehwag returned the gesture in his unique way along with some wit and humour. He said that he will confirm the timing soon and also asked her not to wrestle with her. Sehwag tweeted:
