A lot will be on stake for both the sides as India and West Indies take on each other in the third Test of the four-match series at Gros Islet in St Lucia starting Tuesday, August 9. While India will be eyeing on winning the match and series and thus creating a chance for themselves to be crowned as world’s No. 1 Test team in the ICC Test Rankings, West Indies will try to win the game and salvage some pride.
In the 10 days of cricket being played in first two games, India have dominated the hosts for nine days. The only time West Indies looked like competing was on the final day of the rain-marred second game which the hosts somehow managed to draw. They will now look to carry that momentum in the third Test and try and put up an improved show.

Both the side will have selection issues, as West Indies have dropped opener Rajendra Chandrika and have Leon Johnson and Shai Hope as the options to replace him. India too will have to make a choice between Murali Vijay / Shikhar Dhawan / Cheteshwar Pujara and KL Rahul. There is also a strong word going around on Ravindra Jadeja replacing Amit Mishra. What changes Virat Kohli makes will be open in a few hours’ time. Catch the live streaming of the match on Ten Sports and Ozee.com.
