For sure, Ravi Shastri is having a problem to swallow the bitter pill. The former Indian team director lashed out at Sourav Ganguly, yet again. After revealing that the former captain was not around when he was interviewed for the high profile job of India’s head coach, Shastri now went on to say that Ganguly was “disrespectful” of the candidate he was interviewing and the job of selecting the coach he was entrusted with. Speaking to India Today, Shastri said, “Not miffed at all [with not being appointed India’s coach]. I am just disappointed. Nothing surprises me in cricket. It’s nothing to do with Sourav, but I am disappointed because that person was disrespectful of the candidate who was going to be interviewed and disrespectful of the job he was entrusted to do.” READ MORE: Sourav Ganguly ignores commenting on Ravi Shastri

Though Shastri has repeatedly praised the appointment of Anil Kumble as the head coach, his repeated comments in the media does not leave a good taste.
