She is currently among the top trending topics and most talked about person in India, as she became the first woman from the nation to have won a silver medal in Olympics. There has been an excellent response over Sindhu’s medal-winning effort as millions of people from across the globe congratulated her on social media. It was surely a proud moment for the entire country and on this occasion, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will be presenting her a BMW car.
As reported by PTI, this news came through secretary of Badminton Association of India Punnaiah Chowdary, who said, “Sindhu will be gifted a BMW car by Mr. Chamudeswaranath and his friends. Mr. Sachin Tendulkar will be presenting the car to Sindhu.”
This is not the first time Tendulkar is presenting a car to an Indian Olympic medal winner. Earlier, Tendulkar gifted a car to Saina Nehwal, when she won a Bronze medal in 2012 London Olympics. ALSO READ: MS Dhoni bags INR 80 crore for rights of his biopic!
