It’s like a trend these days in international cricket when cricketers gift bat to each other during or the series. During the ICC World T20 2016, India’s Test captain Virat Kohli gifted his bat to Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir before the epic encounter between India and Pakistan in the super 10 stage of the tournament. After Kohli, MS Dhoni seems to continue this trend by gifting his autographed bat to his former Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) teammate and current interim coach of Zimbabwe — Makhaya Ntini after winning the three One-Day International series by sealing the second game in favour of India. Interestingly, Dhoni has not batted yet in the series so far and probably he might not bat in the next game too if India bat second once again.
In the below picture, both Dhoni and Ntini are seen sharing a very memorable moment of the series while gifting his bat.

Both Dhoni and Ntini are known to be very good mates as both played together for CSK in Indian Premier League for first three season. Dhoni was also a part of Ntini’s farewell international game in South Africa in 2011.
