Twitterati blast MS Dhoni for another failure with bat

Fans who expected Dhoni to guide India to a decent total were livid with the Indian captain and took their frustration out on Twitter.

Has MS Dhoni past his expiry date? Critics wait with sharpened knives the moment captain cool fails but it seems that the Dhoni detractors are on a steep rise. Not long back, Dhoni used to be India’s go-to man as the finisher but it seems his skills are waning.

Dhoni, who could not win India the first T20I against Zimbabwe on Saturday, despite staying at the wicket until the end, once again had a poor outing with the bat in the final T20I. India were off to a disastrous start, losing three wickets inside five overs. India were 76 for 4 in the 13th over when Dhoni made his way out to the middle. Fans who expected Dhoni to guide India to a decent total were livid with the Indian captain and took their frustration out on Twitter. While some made valid points, many just took out the opportunity to take a dig at Dhoni. It was Kedar Jadhav‘s 58 and Axar Patel‘s brisk 11-ball 20 not out that helped India to 138 in their stipulated 20 overs.
