Video: Virat Kohli says “5 days to go” for ISL

Kohli is the co-owner of FC Goa, which lost to the Ganguly co-owned Atletico de Kolkata in the semi-final last year.

The chants of “let’s football” have once again gripped the country. In the cricket-crazy India, football is once again making the noise and one definitely has to thank the cricketers for the same. From Sourav Ganguly to Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, all co-own Indian Super League’s (ISL) teams. Along with them, they also bring in their fan bases to the beautiful game of football.

The second season of ISL gets underway this Saturday and a video released by Star Sports shows Kohli in the countdown mode. Kohli is the co-owner of FC Goa, which lost to the Ganguly co-owned Atletico de Kolkata in the semi-final last year. The Kolkata side later went on to be the champions.

Kohli’s side is managed by the Brazilian legend Zico and the Indian Test skipper will eye the silverware this time.
