Pakistan are having a good run in Test cricket and a large chunk of credit for that goes to Younis Khan, who have been a run-machine for them. He recently became the only batsman to register five hundreds in the fourth innings of a Test. But is everything well in the Pakistani camp? Younis’ recent comments don’t imply so. In a report from PTI, Younis said that it’s unfair for the critics to compare him with the Pakistani Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq.

“I should not be compared to Misbah. I am senior and experienced than him. I am also four years younger than him. And my style of playing is more aggressive,” said the 37-year-old batsman.

Under Misbah’s leadership, Pakistan have flourished in Test cricket. However Younis, who helped Pakistan win the series in Sri Lanka with a memorable 171 not out in the fourth innings of the third Test, said that he would love to the captain again.

“If I get a chance to lead the Test team I will definitely accept the challenge once again,” said Younis, who had led Pakistan to their World Twenty20 Championship title in 2009.
