The UAE-government backed Abu Dhabi T10 League is hoping to cash in on the rich the Indian cricket market by adding retired India internationals Yuvraj Singh, Ambati Rayudu and Irfan Pathan to their roster for the third edition of the league, starting November 15, 2019.

According to Shaji Ul Mulk, the chairman and founder of the T10 league, talks have taken place with Yuvraj, as well as his former India colleagues Rayudu and Pathan, as reported by The National. ALSO READ: Eoin Morgan, Lasith Malinga among high-profile players in Abu Dhabi T10 draft

“We are very optimistic, and I think it is more about a number than willingness,” Ul Mulk told the UAE-based daily. “Yuvraj has a certain expectation, and we can only afford so much, let us put it that way. We are trying to bridge that gap, but the intention is very clear: he definitely wants to play. The same goes for other players who are retiring. England World Cup-winning captain Eoin MorganLasith MalingaShane Watsonand T20 behemoth Andre Russell are few of biggest stars in cricket aiming to ply their trade in the third season of the T10 League as it moves base from Sharjah to Dubai at the Zayed Cricket Stadium starting from November 15 to 24.

The star-studded line-up is set to include Morgan, Shoaib MalikDarren SammyAngelo Mathews, Malinga, Watson and Cameron WhiteMohammad Shahzad, Russell, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo — all putting their hands up for team selection in the 2019 Abu Dhabi T10 draft.
