After his team defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 6 wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 SRH pacer Jaydev Unadkat stated that bowlers must be “unpredictable” in terms of line and pace.
During his four-over performance against CSK on Friday, Unadkat took one wicket and conceded 29 runs with an economy rate of 7.20.
In the match’s 15th over in Hyderabad, the 32-year-old bowler dismissed CSK’s Ajinkya Rahane for 35 runs. Unadkat says at the post-match press conference that slow balls were sticking into the pitch at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and that it was necessary to adapt to the conditions.
“I think from what we have seen so far both the wickets where the slow balls were sticking into the pitch and It’s about adapting to the conditions. I think the conditions were suitable for those sorts of deliveries… as a bowler, you have got to be unpredictable in terms of lines and pace, says Unadkat.
After two victories and two loses in their last four games, SRH has moved up to fifth place.awarding them four points. Having a same win-loss ratio,CSK is in third place with four points, due to a higher run rate.
