New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) congratulated India A on winning the Quadrangular series title by defeating Australia A by 57 runs in Mackay on Sunday. BCCI president Anurag Thakur said, “I would like to congratulate India A on their series win in Australia. Kudos to India A coach Mr. Rahul Dravid for his effort in building a young team and further strengthening the bench strength of Team India.” BCCI secretary Ajay Shirke said, “My heartiest congratulations to Mr. Rahul Dravid and the boys for registering series win in Australia. India head coach Anil Kumble also congratulated India A especially the coach Rahul Dravid and captain Manish Pandey for this success. He went on to Twitter and mentioned, “Congratulations Team India A for the win in Australia. Well done Team! @im_manishpandey #RahulDravid @BCCI.” India A are to credit their bowlers of the win as they set a target of 267, thanks to Mandeep Singh‘s 95 and Manish Pandey‘s 61. It was India A’s spinners who got the better of the hosts, claiming 8 wickets.
