AUS VS WI: On Tuesday, Australia and the West Indies played the third and final T20I of the three-match series in Perth. Choosing to bat first, the opponents achieved an impressive total of 220/6 in 20 overs, with Andre Russell and Sherfane Rutherford combining for a big 139-run partnership. Russell dominated the day, scoring 71 runs off 29 balls, including seven sixes and four boundaries. Amidst this high-scoring session, a humorous occurrence occurred, leaving the umpire and players in stitches.

In the fourth over of West Indies' batting, Roston Chase hit a shot off Jason Behrendorff's delivery and sprinted for a single. The mid-off fielder caught the ball and smashed it directly to the stumps. The Australian players took a second to argue for a run-out after the ball struck the stumps directly.

However, Chase was well within the crease and was pronounced not out by the third umpire. The rationale for Australia's appeal was that during the second T20I, the hosts missed the opportunity to run out Alzarri Joseph because Spencer Johnson did not appeal.

In terms of the contest, the West Indies had a disastrous start after winning the toss and deciding to bat, losing three wickets in the first three overs.
