Fast-bowler Peter Siddle warned that Australia will deliver some fireworks when they take on South Africa in the first of the three Test series starting on November 9 at Brisbane.
South Africa are currently the number one Test side in the world after defeating England in August.
“It’s obviously our home turf and we (bowlers) want to show them who’s boss in that sense,” declared Siddle.
“It’s the force we (bowlers) can have when blokes come in and out of the side,” he added.
“Mitch Starc came in, Patrick Cummins earlier on, James Pattinson along with Ryan Harris, Hily (Hilfenhaus) and myself,” Siddle was quoted as saying by Herald Sun.
Siddle believes that with the variety in pace attack available for Australia, they can boast of the No 1 pace attack in the world soon.
“If we can get firing again this summer and really give it to them we can really push to be that No.1 bowling attack in the world.
“The last two series’ against South Africa it has got pretty fired up. The bowlers do tend to go at each other pretty fiercely and I don’t that that will change,” he said.
