Bangladesh beat New Zealand by 4 wickets in third ODI; clinch series 3-0

Bangladesh have beaten New Zealand by four wickets in the third One-Day International (ODI) at Fatullah and have clinched the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series 3-0. New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor's ton went in vain as Bangladesh were boosted by Shamsur Rahman's 96 upfront.
Bangladesh had won the toss and put New Zealand in to bat. The tourists got good start courtesy Tom Latham and Anton Devcich. However, they lost three quick wickets when Taylor and Colin Munro came together. They stitched together a partnership of 130, out of which Munro scored 85. Taylor then notched his century as he powered New Zealand to 307 for five in their 50 overs.
Bangladesh has a blazing start as Ziaur Rehman and Shamsur took charge. By the time Ziaur was out, Bangladesh already had 61 on the board in the seventh over. Bangladesh kept building significant partnerships as all their batsmen, with the exception of Mushfiqur Rahim, got into double figures.
Shamsur was dismissed for 96 with Bangladesh on 204 for four in the 34th over. But, they still had Naeem Islam, who eventually scored 63 and put them on the road to victory. As the slog overs progressed, Bangladesh neared the required rate and won with four balls to spare. Nasir Hossain finished unbeaten on 44 as he and Sohag Gazi finished the game and saw off a few nervous moments.
This is Bangladesh's second whitewash over New Zealand as they had also beaten them on their previous tour, which was in 2010.
