Sri Lanka, after winning the Test series 1-0, have the lead in the T20I series as well and will look to seal the series with an easy victory in this match.

Despite putting up a competitive score of 193 for 5, Bangladesh failed to defend it and the visitors won the match by 5 wickets, with 20 deliveries still remaining. Both Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim scored half-centuries while skipper Mahmudullah made a crucial 43-run contribution in the middle order. But Kusal Mendis and Danushka Gunathilaka replicated Sarkar and Mushfiqur’s efforts, scoring fifties. Then, Dasun Shanaka (42*) and Thisara Perera (39*) took care of the batting in middle order to take their side to a comfortable win.
