Put into bat, Sixers surprise the opposition pushing Josh Philippe to the top. The wicketkeeper-batsman smashed four boundaries before his (11-ball 17) brief stint was brought to an end by left-arm pacer Josh Lalor, who returned in his next over to clean up Daniel Hughes (13). Captain Moises Henriques added just eight after he top-edged it to third man handing Brendan Doggett his first wicket of the match. The Sixers were 62/3 when Henriques departed in the ninth over. Entered Vince and combined with Silk as the duo forged 94 runs for the fourth wicket, a match-defining partnership. Vince carted six boundaries and two hits over the fence for his 75 and departed to Afghanistan offspinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the 17th over. Silk followed his team-mate in the next over falling nine runs short of a half century after Lalor picked up his third wicket.
