Cannot digest the fact that I won’t be part of IPL 2019: Manoj Tiwary

An unbeaten double century and a fifty to follow it up for Bengal in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 this season was still not enough for Manoj Tiwary to find a place in one of the franchises for the Indian Premier League next season.
Tiwary, who played only five matches for Kings XI Punjab after he was bought for Rs 1 crore, scored only 47 runs, expressed his disappointment on Twitter. The right-handed batsman, who has played 12 ODIs and 3 T20Is, tweeted pictured of his past records and trophies and questioned what went wrong for him not be considered for selection by any team at the IPL Auction 2019 that concluded in Jaipur on Tuesday.

On the morning following the IPL Auctions, Tiwary, who played for the now defunct Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2017 edition in which he notched 324 runs from 15 matches at an average of 32.40 with a strike rate of 137.28, criticised those who were attacking him for expressing his opinion on social media.
“Really appreciated the fact that U al have shown so much love nd care through ur replies to my last tweet. Still I cannot digest that fact that I won’t be part of IPL 2019 this coming season but I know that’s the reality in which I have to live now and move on from here and keep focusing on the things which I can control,” he wrote.
