Australia’s abject surrender to Pakistan in the recently concluded Test series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which stretched a streak of losses in the subcontinent to a new low has prompted Cricket Australia (CA) to allocate the review of this latest failure to an Indian Company.
The review has been handed over to the Chennai based company Cricket 21 to gather a sub-continental perspective into their never-ending problems against spin bowling according to the Sydney Morning Herald. Although keen to find a solution to their struggles in the subcontinent, CA wants to avoid deviating from the job at hand which is the home season that includes a four match test series against India, followed by a Tri-Series with England to join and the ICC World Cup 2015 which Australia co-host alongside New Zealand and hence the nature of the review is essentially external.

“We don’t want to interfere with performances during the summer so we’ve made sure that we really go and test our thinking – we want a non-Australian point of view, There’s a lot of intellect there and we think it’s a great way to test our thinking.” said the CA high performance chief Pat Howard.
