Dinesh Karthik Ignores Bumrah, Picks Pakistan Pacer As Best Fast Bowler

INDIA wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik hailed Pakistan's premier pacer, Haris Rauf on the sidelines of The Hundred. Karthik reckoned that he is argualbaly one of the better white ball bowlers especially at the death.

Rauf made his domestic debut for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 trophy. He made his international debut on January 2020 after that he bacam a mainstay of Pakistan's white ball teams.

"Few years ago he was playing tennis ball cricket. Gets picked up by the Qalandars, becomes a part of their team, and academy and then goes on to play the league and then has obviously gone on to do so well for Pakistan. He is arguably one of the better white ball bowlers going around in world cricket now, especially at the death," Karthik said on Sky Sports on the sidelines of the match.

Rauf has been a regular member of the Pakistan squad since his debut. He has been particularly successful in Twenty20 cricket, and is currently ranked 10th in the world in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. He is known for his ability to bowl yorkers and bouncers, and has taken 31 wickets in 20 Twenty20 Internationals.
