THE FOURTH Test between England and Australia ended in a tame draw after rain washed out significant time from the game.
England had the match in grasp and were set to level the series 2-2 but rain denied the hosts a golden opportunity of a win. Australia are 2-1 ahead in the series, with one game to go. The washout means that England’s wait for winning an Ashes series since 2015 will continue.
Meanwhile, Barmy Army tried to cheer up English fans who were disappointed by the gloomy draw by sharing a hilarious video of a fan wearing a Donald Trump mask and hitting a brilliant scoop shot. The video seems to be from Old Trafford. Manchester where a section of fans had fun as rain continue to smash England’s hopes of a win.

‘Tough Pill To Swallow: Ben Stokes on Manchester Washout
England captain Ben Stokes was upset with the Manchester washout and termed it a tough pill to swallow. Stokes said that England did everything that was needed to win but the weather did not help the team.
“I can’t actually look back and think we could have been better there because we were pretty much perfect throughout the whole game,” Stokes said. “Bowling Australia out and then scoring the runs that we did at the pace that we did, I can’t really say we got anything wrong about this game to be honest. The weather didn’t help us, we can’t change that. It’s a tough pill to swallow, knowing that’s the reason we sit here with a draw.”
