New Zealand’s much awaited tour of England begins with the first Test, starting on May 21 at Lord’s. This will be the first Test of two-match series. So far, New Zealand have played 16 Tests at the ‘Mecca of Cricket’, and their last win at the iconic venue against England in Test cricket came way back in 1999, when they slammed the hosts by nine wickets. That was also the last time England won a Test match in England. Live updates: England vs New Zealand, 1st Test, Lord’s, Day 1

New Zealand on the other hand, are currently in red-hot form and will be looking to add to England’s misery. Not only have England had a horrid time at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, the recent off-field controversies would have certainly had a mental impact on many senior players. England will hope they weather the storm and put in a good showing in the series. READ: Preview, England vs New Zealand 1st Test
