England Women’s strike bowler Anya Shrubsole got ruled out of the Pakistan’s tour of England due to side strain. It will be a major blow to England Women ahead of three match T20 series against Pakistan Women. She was in good form in the ODI series with six wickets in her bag in three matches. She picked up four wickets in 2nd ODI and two wickets in 3rd ODI. Shrubsole has played 37 ODIs so far and picked up 48 wickets. Her record in T20Is is not bad either with 68 wickets in 47 matches. Her absence will surely be felt in the home side. England Women were able to whitewash the ODI series quite comfortably as Pakistan Women failed to put up a fight against the hosts. The T20 series will be starting on July 3. England have been outstandingly good in their performance in the ODI series not giving Pakistan any room to breathe and outclassing them in every department of the game. Two huge totals were witnessed in the ODI series with 378 and 366 in the second and the third ODI respectively. Tammy Beaumont showed the world how good of an opening player she is as she scored 342 runs in the series which included one half century and two centuries on the trot.
Beaumont did not had a single half century or century before the ODI series. She showed her true form in the ODI series decimating the bowling attack and scoring more than run a ball. Her unbeaten 168 is the fourth highest individual score in the history of Women cricket.
