Former Australian all-rounder Gary Gilmour has passed away aged 62. Gilmour played 15 Tests and five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia during the 1970s.

Gilmour had been battling ill health for a long time, reports Dailytelegraph.com.au. Gilmour played the inaugural World Cup in 1975. Australia reached the final at Lord’s, where they lost to West Indies. He was a left-arm medium-fast bowler and a left-handed batsman.
He scored 483 runs in Tests at an average of 23.00 with one hundred. His highest score in ODIs was 28 not out. Gilmour also took 54 wickets at an average of 26.03. He had three five-wicket hauls. Gilmour took 16 wickets in ODIs.
