India lost the wicket of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane in their ICC World T20 2014 game against Australia. Earlier they had lost Rohit Sharma in the first over after being put in to bat by George Bailey. But then, Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, who replaced Shikhar Dhawan for this game, stablised India with a mixture of caution and aggression. In nine overs, India are 54 for three.
Yuvraj Singh is batting in the centre and it is imperative that he gets a good score as he has been searching for it for a long time. He had found himself in trouble in the middle when a running call went awry, but there wasn’t a clean fielding effort.
Kohli fell to James Muirhead in the seventh over as he tried to smash him out of the ground, but found the fielder in the deep at long-off. Then Rahane tried to guide Doug Bollinger through third-man, but edged to wicketkeeper Brad Haddin in the ninth over.
