FAST-bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is set to make his much-awaited comeback into international cricket after being named as India’s captain for the three-match T20I series against Ireland starting from 18th August at the Village in Dublin.
The weather forecast for Friday predicts a 90 percent chance of rain and that is not good news for either of the teams. To add on top of it, the humidity will be as high as 93 which will only make things worse.
Jasprit Bumrah’s Return To International Cricket
Jasprit Bumrah along with pacer Prasidh Krishna will be coming back to international cricket after being nearly out for a year due to a lumbar stress fracture in the back. Both Bumrah and Prasidh had been recuperating and achieving full fitness at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru after undergoing back surgeries.
The Ireland series will provide a glimpse into how Bumrah and Krishna are faring competitively after undergoing rehab at the NCA.
