BOARD of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced the Indian squad for the upcoming tour of Ireland set to start on the 18th of August. Team India’s premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah is making his much-awaited return to International cricket with this series.

Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the Indian Cricket Team for the three-match T20I series. Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is set to lead the Indian side in Asian Games 2023 is the new deputy in charge.

Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma Receives Call-Up

The dynamic batter Rinku Singh who earlier received his maiden call-up for the Asian Games will be appearing in the Ireland tour and will most likely make his much-awaited debut for the Men in Blues.

Prasidh Krishna is making his return to International Cricket after an injury just like Bumrah. The trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Prasidh Krishna will be a sight to watch on this tour.

Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma are the two wicket-keeping options with the team. However, Samson will most likely take up that spot due to his seniority and BCCI’s possible plans for him in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.

Tilak Varma is another great talent who made it to fame with his performance in the Indian Premier League and will be looking forward to making a similar impact in the Indian colours.
