The Indian cricket team is taking on Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI of the 3-match series in Colombo. Captain Rohit Sharma achieved multiple feats and moved his way up on three different lists in the ODI format. He has surpassed former Indian captains Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni on the list of ‘leading run scorers for India in ODIs’. Rohit has also passed legendary Sourav Ganguly, but that is on a different list.
On the list of leading run scorers, Rohit crossed Dravid who has 10,768 runs from 340 games and also MS Dhoni who has 10,773 runs. Rohit also went past former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly on the list of leading ODI run-scorer on Asian soil. He has 6,422 runs from 147 ODI innings in Asia.

Other batters on the list are Sachin Tendulkar- with 3,113 runs, Virat Kohli- with 2,618 runs, MS Dhoni- with 2,383 runs, Inzamam-ul-Haq- with 2,265 runs and Saeed Anwar- with 2,198 runs.
