The series opener in Dharamsala was washed out without a ball being bowled. India have left out KL Rahul, Khaleel Ahmed, while Shreyas Iyer returns to the T20 International set up for the first time since December 2017. For South Africa, Anrich Nortje, Temba Bavuma and George Linde all make their T20I debuts.
