The second T20 International between Sri Lanka Women and India Women, at Colts Cricket Club, Colombo, had to be called off due to rain. Sri Lanka were 49 for 3 in 7.5 overs after a delayed start, with Dilani Manodara (15*) and Eshani Lokusuriyage (1*) at the crease. For India, Arundhati Reddy, Deepti Sharma, and Poonam Yadav picked up a wicket apiece.

Yasoda Mendis and Chamari Atapattu had added 39 in 18 balls for the first wicket in the previous match. There was no encore today after Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bowl. Mendis (1) was caught by Sharma off Arundhati Reddy in the second over. Atapattu, clearly enjoying the form of her life, raced to a 16-ball 21 before Sharma bowled her. Yadav had Kavisha Dilari (3) caught by Reddy just before the final interruption.

India Women had won the first T20I of the five-match series, at Free Trade Zone Sports Complex, Katunayake, by 13 runs.
