Lovely batting this from Marsh! He slams Bravo straight back to the boundary in the second ball to ease the pressure. Bravo does well to decieve him with a slower delivery off the next delivery. KXIP 73/3 | Overs 11 | Marsh 27*, Miller 0* OUT! David Hussey 22 (16)
Big blow for Punjab! The asking rate was climbing and mounting the pressure on the Kings XI skipper. He gets a six off the first ball but perishes off the second as he can’t clear Dwayne Bravo at long off. Bravo breaks into a dance, Hussey walks back. Is it curtains for KXIP?
KXIP 65/2 | Overs 10 | Marsh 27*, David Hussey 14*

Its been all Chennai so far! They haven’t given away easy runs. Punjab need to up the ante before the asking rate goes beyond control. Only four runs from the over.
KXIP 23/1 | Overs 4 | Mandeep 9*, Marsh 6*

CSK 150/3 | Overs 17 | S Raina 75*, A Morkel 18*
Suresh Raina is displaying the kind of form that’s almost impossible to play against. Sathish has the ball to face the brunt. Raina spots two back-to-back slower deliveries and hits two boundaries on either side of the wicket to bring up the 50-run partnership between Raina and Morkel. It has come off 27 deliveries. Morkel gets into the act in the final ball to hit a six over long off. This is not ending well for the visitors. The 150 is up for the home side.

CSK 116/3 | Overs 15 | S Raina 50*, A Morkel 9*
Suresh Raina brings up his half-century as the batsmen extract nine runs from the over. The wickets column should have read four instead of three as Albie Morkel played a slog sweep straight to Mandeep Singh at deep square leg. However, Mandeep failed to hold on to it and Morkel survives to die another day.
CSK 107/3 | Overs 14 | S Raina 43*, A Morkel 7*
The home side go past the triple figure-run mark. Raina is perfectly poised to take the home side to a decent total. The wicket is still very flat and nothing short of an absolute carnage should be on the cards. Eight runs come from the Awana over.
CSK 99/3 | Overs 13 | S Raina 40*, A Morkel 2* OUT! MS Dhoni 2 (2)
Massive, massive wicket for the Kings XI Punjab! MS Dhoni is gone! Rajagopal Sathish comes on to bowl and Dhoni plays it towards mid-wicket where there was no fielder. Sathish chased the ball and the batsmen decided to go for the second run. But Sathish’s throw at the striker’s end is good one and Gurkeerat Singh does well to uproot the stumps in a flash. Dhoni falls short of the crease. He goes for 2. But Raina is still undeterred. He slog sweeps Sathish towards the fine leg boundary.
CSK 91/2 | Overs 12 | S Raina 35*, MS Dhoni 1* OUT! Hussey 35 (29)

CSK 55/1 | Overs 9 | M Hussey 21*, S Raina 14*

CSK 49/1 | Overs 8 | M Hussey 16*, S Raina 13*
This is smart stuff from David Hussey. He quickly finishes his third over and has conceded just 17. CSK need to get a move on.
CSK 44/1 | Overs 7 | M Hussey 14*, S Raina 11*
Chennai take eight runs from the first over off Piyush Chawla. Hussey and Raina are slowly building the innings here. They take four singles and Raina lofts a poor delivery through wide long-off.

CSK 32/1 | Overs 5 | M Hussey 9*, S Raina 4*
Almost the second breakthrough! Suresh Raina, the new batsman hits the ball to Piyush Chawla at mid-on and takes a single. Chawla forces a direct hit and Raina dived in to complete the run. However, his bat was in the air and was saved by only his glove that was just in. David Hussey concedes just five runs in his second over.
CSK 27/1 | Overs 4 | M Hussey 4* OUT! W Saha 18 (18)
Parwinder Awana comes on and strikes! Saha perishes trying to clear the square leg boundary but hits it straight to Shaun Marsh. This came after Hussey welcomed Awana with a boundary..Five runs and a wicket from Awana’s first over.
CSK 22/0 | Overs 3 | M Hussey 4*, W Saha 18*
Saha welcomes Praveen Kumar with a six over square leg! That’s the first six of the match. Kumarpitches it short and Saha’s eyes lit up as there is no pace on the ball. Easy pickings for Saha. Kumar makes a good comeback with a beautiful slower one and almost deceives Saha into throwing his wicket away. However, too much width in the next ball helps Saha to score a boundary behind point. He follows it up with a hoick over the leg side to guide the ball to the deep square leg fielder for a couple. 12 runs from the over.
CSK 10/0 | Overs 2 | M Hussey 4*, Saha 6*
David Hussey brings himself on! The last time he bowled, he went for 27 runs in an over but he seems to have some plan in mind. He does well to give only seven runs away.
CSK 3/0 | Overs 1 | M Hussey 0*, Saha 3*
Good start by Praveen Kumar. He mixes it up very well. Wriddhiman Saha picks up a couple off the first and a single off the last ball of the first over.
