They asked Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to bat first after having won the toss. RCB posted a mammoth 227 with the help of some brilliant batting by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. In reply, SRH could only manage 182. For Sunrisers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman picked up couple of wickets each while David Warner scored a half century. Talking of KKR, they have some very good batters in their line-up. Robin Uthappa, Gambhir and Manish Pandey are their top order batsmen. Brad Hogg, Piyush Chawla and John Hastings are some of their good bowlers. They also have hard-hitting batsmen like Colin Munro and Yusuf  Pathan.

If we take a look at SRH, their top order is strong with Warner and Shikhar Dhawan opening for them and Moises Henriques coming at No. 3. They have a good pace attack in the form of Ashish Nehra, Bhuvneshwar and Mustafizur.
