Chennai: MS Dhoni only got to play three balls in Chennai Super Kings’ returning match to M.A Chidambaram Stadium. However, the CSK skipper set the stage on fire even on the limited time he was on the pitch, he smashed back-2-back sixes on the first two balls and completed 5000 runs in IPL before getting out on the third ball.

The whole Chepauk stadium was on its feet as the legendary MS Dhoni stepped foot inside the ground to bat and Dhoni didn’t disappoint as he sent the first two balls flying out of the ground, giving everyone a glimpse of vintage MS Dhoni.

Dhoni’s quickfire sixes provided Chennai Super Kings with a final push that put 217 runs on the scoreboard. The wicket-keeper batter was on the pitch for only three balls but still managed to take over the internet. Dhoni’s sixes have become the talk of the town.
