PAKISTAN A is up against India A in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup. The Men In Green find themselves in a great position as a fiery 59 by Saim Ayub and 65 by Sahibzada Farhan have put the team on course for a huge score. Pakistan are 183-3 in the 28th over at the time of writing.

The Indian bowlers have been on song in the tournament and bowled out Pakistan A for 205 in the league stage before defending 211 against Bangladesh A in the semifinal. However, the bowlers have been taken for the cleaners in the final.

India had one opportunity early in the match when RS Hangargekar dismissed Saim Ayub for 16 but the delivery turned out to be a no-ball. The openers then went on to add 121 runs for the first wicket.

The incident resembled Jasprit Bumrah’s no-ball in the ICC Champions Trophy final in 2017. Bumrah had dismissed Fakhar Zaman early in the match but the ball turned out to be a no-ball, giving Fakhar Zaman a second chance after which the southpaw tormented the Indian bowling with a blistering 114.
