He is playing in his 26th Test match. His victim was New Zealand's wicketkeeper-batsman, BJ Watling. It was not his best delivery though, as it was short and wide but Watling got out caught by Jason Holder fielding at the backward point position. Roach has already taken eight wickets in the Test match. Roach becomes the 19th West Indian to take 100 Test wickets. Roach made his Test debut back in 2009 against Bangladesh. In that series, he also took his best haul of 6 for 48. Courtney Walsh has taken the most number of wickets for West Indies with 519 wickets to his name in 132 Test matches.Roach has certainly been an integral part of the West Indies setup over the years. Roach though, has had his fitness issues in recent times and West Indies need to look after their spearhead carefully.
