Kevin Pietersen declines returning England gift for 100th Test

England discard Kevin Pietersen has declined that he has returned the two gifts that he was given to mark his 100th Test. The first Test of the return Ashes series in Brisbane was Pietersen’s 100th in Test cricket.
A report in The Sun claimed that Pietersen has returned the gifts, to which the controversial cricketer tweeted that he has not and questioned the journalist’s sources.

Pietersen has been at loggerheads with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) ever since he was axed from their national side. He was not invited at the annual awards function at Lord’s earlier this week.
The cricketer earlier this week claimed that he has moved on from the decision that England took to end his international career, saying that the English dressing room was not a happy place to be during the disastrous tour of Australia, where they were blanked 5-0 in the 2013-14 Ashes.

Pietersen wrote in his column in The Telegraph, “I will have no anger, no negative thoughts whatsoever when England walk out without me at Lord’s on Thursday to play their first Test since the winter. I wish my friends in the England team well. I have moved on from the England and Wales Cricket Board’s decision to end my international career and have put things in perspective.”
