Kevin Pietersen omitted from England squad for ODI and T20 series against New Zealand

The 14-man T20 squad and a 14-man ODI squad of England for the tour of New Zealand was announced by the England selectors on Sunday.
Stuart Broad, who missed the two T20s against India due to heel injury, is back as the captain while Steven Finn also returns for the New Zealand series where they play two practice games against New Zealand XI for the three-match series starting on February 9 in Auckland.
The likes of James Anderson, Graeme Swann and Jonathan Trott return to the squads after being rested for the ODIs against India. Kevin Pietersen has been left out of both the squads as selectors look to manage the workload of players throughout the year.
National Selector, Geoff Miller said,” Kevin Pietersen will miss the limited overs tour of New Zealand with Graeme Swann missing the T20 leg of the tour,” as reported by www.blackcaps.co.nz
