KSCA President’s XI were awarded the Safi Darashah Trophy based on first innings lead after Samarth Ravikumar slammed his second century of the match (106 not out) and eked out a draw against the KSCA Secretary’s XI in the final of the all-India cricket tournament that concluded in Alur on Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 289 for victory, President’s XI were 190 for 3 in 61 overs when the stumps were drawn. Samarth, who tallied 850 runs in five matches including centuries in both innings of the semi-final and final, was adjudged best batsman of the tournament while J Suchith (KSCA Secretary’s XI) was declared best bowler having taken 24 wickets in five matches.
