Kings XI Punjab’s (KXIP) need 116 to win in their Indian Premeir League (IPL) match against Pune Warriors India (PWI) at Mohali.
KXIP's bowlers restricted Sourav Gangulyl-led confident PWI to a respectable total of 115.
Leading from the front for KXIP was Dimitri Mascarenhas, who took which included important wickets of Ganguly, Marlon Samuels and Mithun Manhas.
After winning the toss, KXIP skipper Adam Gilchrist put PWI to bat first. Pune Warrioirs lost quick wickets at regular intervals.
Robin Uthappa and Mithun Manhas built a partnership to keep PWI away from pressure. However, Uthappa and Manhas was dismissed by Mascarenhas later in the match.
Even Harmeet Singh played intelligently, taking two wickets of Angelo Mathews and Manish Pandey.
Singh took three wickets in the last encounter against Pune.
