The 321-run win over New Zealand in the third and the last Test in Indore not only helped them clinch the series 3-0, but also reclaimed for them the ICC Test mace for the No. 1 Test team in the world. India toppled Misbah-Ul-Haq led Pakistan to become the new No. 1 Test team in the world. With this win, India have also started the hectic home season, which sees them play 10 more Tests in next six months, on a stupendous note. However, for now, the focus has shifted to limited-overs action, as India take on New Zealand in five-match One-Day International (ODI) series that begins from October 16 at Dharamsala. The format has changed, and so has the skipper. For next two and a half weeks, Virat Kohli will take the backseat and Team India will be under the wings of skipper MS Dhoni. The maverick captain, who retired from Test cricket at the end of 2014, continues to lead the side in the shorter formats and shall once again steer the ship. He recently joined the young team and the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official Twitter handle tweeted few pictures of the same with the caption: “Look who is back! Captain Cool @msdhoni is back with the boys as Team India arrive in Dharamsala for the ODI series. #IndvNZ   Dhoni might have been away from cricketing action of late, but the release of his biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ kept him busy. The movie opened on 4,500 screens worldwide and Dhoni had quite a time promoting it across the globe. The movie, which showed the lesser-known side of his personality, was termed a hit at the box-office, with domestic collections alone crossing the INR 100-crore mark. Besides the upcoming five-match series and a three-match series against England followed by T20Is, Dhoni has little to do this home season and he will thus look to make the most of the limited opportunities.
