India A were off to a cautious start against Australia A in the first unofficial Test that is being played in Brisbane’s Allan Border Field. India A were 65 for no loss at lunch on Day One. Akhil Herwadkar and Faiz Fazal were batting at the crease at 31 and 24 not out respectively. Herwadkar did play a couple of cover drives and got boundaries in that region. In the second hour, spinner Mitchell Swepson was introduced by Australia A captain Peter Handscomb and he started well too, looked in good rhythm.
