Australian captain Michael Clarke reached 2,000 Test runs against arch-rivals England in the ongoing second Ashes Test at Adelaide on Friday.
Clarke has played 27 Tests against England and has an average of 48.97 against them. His highest score of 187, which is also his Test highest score, came against England at Manchester earlier this during Ashes 2013, which Australia lost 0-3.
The 32-year-old has slammed seven Test hundreds against England. Clarke has scored 844 runs against England in Australia and 1,164 runs away.
Fellow Australian and legendary batsman Sir Donald Bradman has scored the maximum runs against England from 37 matches. He scored 5,028 Test runs at an average of 89.78. His highest score against the English was 334.
