Mithali Raj becomes first Indian woman to surpass 5000 ODI runs: Twitter reactions

Mithali Raj became the first Indian woman cricketer to breach the 5000-run mark in a One-Day International (ODI) cricketer and is only the second to do so in all female cricket. By extension, Mithali is the second-highest run scorer behind only Charlotte. Mithali is way ahead of Charlotte in terms of average however. Mithali achieved the milestone en route an unbeaten 81 against the New Zealand women during their fourth ODI at Bangalore. The knock was a match-winning effort and Mithali was flooded with congratulatory messages for her landmark, on Twitter.
