Lighting fast behind and between the wickets, even at the age of 36, MS Dhoni achieves yet another feat, pulling off 400 ODI dismissals as a wicketkeeper. Before India played South Africa in the opening ODI, Dhoni had 398 dismissals after his name. He has now in the elite company of Kumar Sangakkara (482), Adam Gilchrist (472) and Mark Boucher (424) to become only the fourth cricketer and first Indian to 400 wicketkeeping dismissals.

Dhoni achieved his 400th dismissal in the third ODI of the series. Dhoni stumped Aiden Markram, who came down the track against Kuldeep Yadav. His 399th dismissal came at Centurion, when he caught Hashim Amla off Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
