Mumbai Indians would have one eye on the net run-rates as they aim for a thumping win over Perth Scorchers to earn a semi-final spot at the Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2013. Mumbai have won the toss and have elected to bowl first. To earn qualification, they would have to chase down Perth's score between 13 to 15 overs depending upon the target Perth set.

Mumbai Indians would have one eye on the net run-rates as they aim for a thumping win over Perth Scorchers to earn a semi-final spot at the Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2013. Mumbai have won the toss and have elected to bowl first. To earn qualification, they would have to chase down Perth’s score between 13 to 15 overs depending upon the target set by Perth.
 
Mumbai are currently on six points, while Otago Volts are on 10. The Volts have a run-rate of +0.869 while Mumbai are behind with +0.090.
 
On Tuesday Mumbai were hoping for a Rajasthan Royals victory over Otago to keep their semi-finals hopes alive. Rajasthan did not disappoint their IPL rivals.
 
Even though the star-studded Mumbai outfit did not have an ideal start to the tournament as they suffered a defeat at the hands of Rajasthan in the opening match before their second game was washed out, they came back strongly to stamp their authority against the Lions. But, getting through to the semi-finals wouldn’t be an easy task.
