New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum won the toss and elected to field against Bangladesh in the first One-Day International (ODI) match at Dhaka.
Senior player Shakib Al Hasan will not be playing as he is unwell.
Ziaur Rahman, Shamsur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossain has been left out of the playing eleven of Bangladesh.
New Zealand wicketkeeper Tom Latham, Kyle Mills, Colin Munro and Adam Milne is not part of the team.
