On Match 22, Shahid Afridi took on youngster Saif Badar in a match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. Afridi starred with ball, picking 3 wickets to help his side win by 63 runs. These included the wicket of Badar, who did not pick his leg-spin and got bowled. Afridi was aggressive in his send-off and said a few words to Badar. After the match, Badar expressed his love for Afridi on Twitter.’ Afridi soon replied with an apology: “I’m sorry what happened that was momentum of the game.. I always support my youngester. Good luck.”

In the very same match, Mohammed Aamer and Ahmed Shehzad were involved in a heated argument. This verbal duel took place after Shehzad top-edged Aamer for a boundary over the wicketkeeper’s head. Kumar Sangakkara took things upon himself to calm things down in the middle.
