Indian captain Rohit Sharma was at his regular light joyful mood when he had a fun comedic moment with Washington Sundar that caught the eyes of cricket fans on social media during the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
After Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first, Sundar put the Sri Lankan batters under severe pressure as he dismissed Aviska Fernando(40) and Kusal Mendis(30) early on in the game. He then further went on to take the wicket of team captain Charith Asalanka as his spell finished with stunning figure of 3-30.
During one of his stunning spell, however, Rohit and Sundar were involved in a hilarious comedic moment, that vent viral on social media. In the 33rd over of the match, while bowling to Janith Liyange, Sundar had a small fumble moment as he stopped twice in his run-up before delivering his second ball of the over.
Rohit was visibly frustrated the first time this happened, but on the very next instance, his hilarious reaction left fans across the world in splits. In his typical light mood, Rohit ran towards Sundar while hilariously threatening to hit him as both of them started giggling.
