Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s Indian Soccer League (ISL) franchise Kerala Blasters picked former Newcastle United footballer Michael Chopra in auction.
“When the drafts came up, the first name that caught our attention was that of Chopra. We immediately decided to pick him and are happy to have him in this team.”, Kerala Blasters marquee player and coach David James was quoted as saying by mercedsunstar.com.
