Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings will battle it out in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. It is a game that promises to be a very good contest given the strength in the batting on both sides. While Chennai have been winning after they were trumped in their first game, Hyderabad broke their losing streak when they opened their account with a tight victory over Delhi Daredevils. This is a game that should have some big runs scored, particularly since they are playing at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, which is known to be a batsman’s paradise. Hyderabad will be buoyed by the fact that Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner and Aaron Finch have come back into form. At the same time, Chennai have Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith, a very destructive opening pair. But on paper, Hyderabad have a stronger bowling attack with Dale Steyn leading the way. Chennai mainly bank their spinners, but have found Ishwar Pandey and Mohit Sharma, two Indian pacers who are in good touch.
